Year 1 Teacher - Bexley
Are you an enthusiastic Key Stage 1 teacher looking for your next role? We are seeking a dedicated Year 1 Teacher to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Bexley . This is an excellent opportunity to work with pupils at a pivotal stage as they transition from Early Years into more formal learning.
The successful candidate will plan and deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons that support pupils’ academic, social, and emotional development. You will create a structured yet nurturing classroom environment that promotes independence, confidence, and a love of learning. Strong phonics and early literacy knowledge will be highly valued.
You will use assessment to track progress and inform planning, ensuring that all pupils are supported and challenged appropriately. Collaboration with colleagues and support staff will be essential to provide a consistent and inclusive learning experience.
This role is suitable for ECTs and experienced teachers who are passionate about Key Stage 1 education and committed to maintaining high standards.

Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
Has experience teaching in Key Stage 1
Creates engaging and well-managed classrooms
Maintains high expectations for behaviour and achievement
Works collaboratively with colleagues and parents
