Undertake work on the Housing Benefit Subsidy by completion of subsidy workbooks including detailed manual calculations. Carry out quality assurance checks on the Housing Benefits, Council Tax. Assist accountants, internal auditors and District Auditors during the annual subsidy audit with particular emphasis on explaining benefit calculations/payments in order to justify that payments have been made in line with Benefit legislation reduction .
