The Opportunity
An Outstanding Barnet school is looking for a strategic School Business Manager to lead the non-teaching functions of the institution. You will join a high-performing Senior Leadership Team and take full responsibility for the financial health and operational efficiency of the school. This role is ideal for an experienced professional who excels in budget management and long-term strategic planning.
Core Responsibilities
The position involves overseeing the school’s multi-million-pound budget, ensuring that resources are allocated effectively to support educational outcomes. You will manage the premises, catering, and administrative teams while ensuring that all health and safety regulations are strictly followed. Additionally, you will lead on income generation through grant applications and the hire of school facilities to the local community.
Requirements & Salary
Applicants should ideally hold a DSBM or CSBM qualification. The salary is highly competitive and paid on the local government leadership scale.
