Geography Teacher – Lead Local and Residential Fieldwork in a Supportive Community School – Barking & Dagenham
A supportive , community-oriented secondary school in Barking & Dagenham is seeking a Geography Teacher with a focus on fieldwork and practical application from January 2026.

You will teach Geography across KS3 and KS4 (GCSE), guiding students through essential fieldwork techniques and data analysis. The role involves designing and leading local fieldwork trips relevant to the East London area (coastal studies, urban regeneration) and contributing to the practical NEA component of the GCSE.
Experience and Qualifications
- QTS and a degree in Geography or a relevant environmental field.
- Proven experience teaching the GCSE Geography curriculum effectively.
- Confidence in safely organizing and leading fieldwork expeditions.
- Commitment to promoting a supportive and practical learning environment.
