Role Information
The school is seeking a skilled DT Technician to support practical lessons across a range of specialisms, including resistant materials, electronics, and CAD/CAM. Responsibilities include preparing materials, maintaining equipment, supporting students during lessons, and ensuring health and safety procedures are followed.
You will also assist with stock control, equipment maintenance, and departmental organisation.
Requirements
• Experience in a DT or technical environment
• Knowledge of workshop machinery and tools
• Understanding of health and safety in practical settings
• Strong organisational skills
• Ability to work effectively with young people
