Senior Operations Manager (UK)
About Us:
Hi there 👋 We’re Wild. We’re on a mission to remove single-use plastic from the bathroom, armed with our refillable, natural and scent-sational deodorants, body wash, haircare and lip balm – and we’ve only just started. We launched in 2020 and as a high-growth company, we’re already one of Europe’s fastest-growing start-ups 🚀 So, fancy coming along for the ride?😃
The Role:
We are looking to hire a Senior Operations Manager to oversee our UK fulfilment capabilities. You will be responsible for all DTC and Retail fulfilment operations, ensuring that our customers receive a fantastic experience: with timely delivery of perfectly packed Wild products, and partners in the UK (including Tesco & Boots) have a seamless fulfilment experience. This will involve closely managing our relationships with our 3PL in the UK to ensure timely and accurate fulfilment of orders. We are looking for a talented and ambitious individual who will thrive in a high-growth, high-paced environment.
This is a great opportunity to join a high-growth start-up, with sustainability at its very core, changing the way consumers think about personal care products.
This role will report into the Operations Lead (UK & EU) and is based in our London office, with occasional travel to our UK warehouse in Leighton Buzzard.
🚀 Some of your responsibilities:
- Operational excellence:

- Launch management: Coordinate critical DTC product launches and Retail pipefill with our 3PLs to ensure operational success
- Amazon management: working alongside the sales function to manage our Amazon fulfilment, in conjunction with DTC and Retail.

- Fulfilment: Oversee fulfilment of orders and liaise with external partners and customers to communicate updates and ensure all orders are fulfilled on time and in full
- Inventory management: Work closely with the Supply Chain team to manage weekly stock holding levels at our 3PLs and external retailer warehouses, ensuring stock transfers are up to date and reflect real-life stock movements
- Data & Reporting: Develop, implement, and govern KPI reporting to monitor operational performance, track key trends, and identify areas for improvement. Utilise data analytics to drive decision-making and operational optimisation
- Commercial: Own our end-of-month Fulfilment invoice review process, understand how they impact our P&L and business plan and identify and implement cost optimisation opportunities and initiatives
- Own and drive complex cross-functional operational projects from initiation to completion, coordinating inputs from other business units to meet deadlines
- Cross-team collaboration: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Supply Chain, Retail, Marketing, Customer Experience and Finance, to align operational strategies with overall business objectives
- Team leadership:
- Manage 1 Operations Executive, ensure you coach and develop their skills and hold effective weekly 1-1s
