Exam Officer
An exceptional Independent School in the London Borough of Richmond upon Thames is seeking an experienced and highly organised Exam Officer to join its support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised administrator who enjoys working in a structured environment and can confidently manage the school's examination processes from start to finish. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring all internal and external examinations are delivered efficiently, securely and in accordance with JCQ regulations.
You will oversee the full examination cycle, including examination entries, candidate registrations, timetable production, access arrangements, invigilator recruitment and training, examination room preparation and the secure handling of confidential examination materials.
Working closely with the Senior Leadership Team, Heads of Department, SEND team and external awarding bodies, you will ensure all deadlines are met while maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and compliance.
Following examinations, you will coordinate results days, post-results services, reviews of marking and access to scripts, while maintaining accurate records and producing reports for senior leaders.
This role would suit an individual with exceptional organisational skills, meticulous attention to detail and the ability to remain calm and professional during busy examination periods.

Requirements
• Previous experience as an Exam Officer or within school examinations
• Strong knowledge of JCQ regulations desirable
• Excellent organisational and administrative skills
• Outstanding attention to detail
• Ability to work accurately under pressure
• Excellent IT and communication skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and safeguarding
