A lovely family based in Battersea, London , is seeking an experienced Nanny to care for their 8-month-old baby and 7-year-old child .
The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of childcare experience and will speak fluent English. The family is looking for someone warm, reliable, organised, and confident caring for both a baby and a school-aged child. Someone with experience supporting weaning and promoting healthy eating habits would be particularly well suited to this role.
The nanny will be responsible for all aspects of the children's care, including supporting the baby's daily routine, assisting with school pick-ups for the older child, preparing nutritious meals and snacks, and encouraging the children's learning and development through engaging activities. The role also includes helping to establish positive table manners by eating with the children during mealtimes and keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean and organised.
A valid first aid certification is required for this role.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30 am to 6:30 pm , for a total of 45 hours per week .
Duties include:
- caring for an 8-month-old baby and a 7-year-old child
- assisting with school pick-ups within walking distance
- assisting with nappy changes and preparing bottles for the baby
- maintaining proper hygiene for the children
- ensuring the children's safety, well-being, and development
- engaging the children in interactive play, educational activities, and outdoor outings, such as visits to the park
- encouraging early literacy by reading books to the children
- providing homework assistance and supporting the older child's educational development
- establishing and maintaining consistent daily routines
- preparing and serving nutritious meals and snacks tailored to the children's needs
- supporting the baby's weaning journey
- eating with the children to encourage positive table manners
- keeping the children's bedrooms and play areas clean, organised, and tidy
The family is looking for someone who can start in September 2026 .
