Air Import Clerk

Are you an experienced Air Import Clerk looking to join a forward-thinking and well-established freight forwarding company at the heart of Heathrow’s cargo community?

We’re working with a leading logistics provider that is seeking a skilled individual with a solid background in air import operations to join their busy and professional team.

Key Responsibilities:

Handling air import shipments from start to finish

*

Creating and processing import documentation

*

Liaising with airlines, handling agents, and customers

*

Customs clearance using relevant software

*

Tracking shipments and ensuring timely delivery

*

Resolving any discrepancies or delays efficiently

*

Maintaining accurate records and complying with industry regulations

Requirements:

*

Previous experience in an air import role within freight forwarding (minimum 2 years preferred)

*

Strong knowledge of customs procedures and import documentation

*

Proficient in using freight and customs software

*

Excellent communication and organisational skills

*

Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment

*

A proactive approach with strong attention to detail
