A secondary SEN school in Harrow is seeking a dedicated Special Needs Teaching Assistant to join their team immediately. The role is full-time and long-term, working closely with teachers and other support staff to provide high-quality support to pupils with a range of needs. The Role As a Special Needs Teaching Assistant, you will: Support students with a wide range of special educational needs, including autism and profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) Provide individualised support and encouragement to help pupils engage in their learning Assist with personal care, mobility, and communication where required Work closely with teachers and therapists to deliver a nurturing and structured learning environment Help create a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere where every child can thrive This is a LOVELY school with a great team The Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who: Has experience working with children or young people with SEN (particularly autism and PMLD) Is resilient, patient, and understanding Works well as part of a team and shows initiative Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills Is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and helping them achieve their potential Why Work with SANZA?
