Join Expedia Group as a Senior Product Manager for Hotels.com. In this role, you'll lead the end-to-end product lifecycle for a key area within Hotels.com’s portfolio — this could include driving the future of hotels distribution technologies, tailoring the experience to new customer types and geographies, or gamifying our experience to drive deeper customer engagement. This role will be instrumental in shaping the future of travel experiences for millions of customers and hoteliers worldwide.

As a Senior Product Manager, you'll bring curiosity and drive to innovate and optimize on behalf of our users while delivering business impact. This position offers an exciting opportunity to tackle complex challenges in the travel industry, applying cutting-edge technologies and data-driven insights to create seamless, personalized travel experiences. You'll be at the forefront of innovation, influencing product strategy not just for your domain, but across the broader Expedia Group ecosystem.

In this role, you will:
  • Champion the User : Represent the voice of the customer and champion to internal teams and partners. Identify organizational, technical, product, design, and data gaps to unlock step-change improvements.

  • Shape Product Vision & Strategy : Develop and leverage deep knowledge of the user and the competitive landscape to shape a long-term vision

  • Drive Product Execution : Build, prioritize, and manage a product roadmap – turning vision into clear requirements and then working across multiple teams in the design and development

  • Provide Leadership & Influence : Demonstrate the grit and resilience to align and influence stakeholders inside and outside the product team. Contribute to setting a department-wide culture of inclusivity.

  • Communicate with Clarity : Craft clear, concise, and organized communication to effectively convey complex product concepts and strategies. A

  • Apply Technology Acumen : Work with engineering and data science leaders to drive improvements using the latest technologies

  • Leverage Data & Metrics : Leverage a deep understanding of data analytics, predictive modelling, and machine learning to identify opportunities to enhance customer experience.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of product management experience with a proven track record of delivering complex, high‑impact products.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent professional experience.

  • Demonstrated ability to set and align long‑term product vision across multiple workstreams, with strong storytelling capabilities to communicate rationale and tradeoffs.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data to drive decision-making and strategy in a B2C product environment.

  • Deep understanding of technology trends, including AI/ML applications in product development and a demonstrated ability to push for better AI adoption.

  • Experience leading 0→1 product launches, bringing teams along through ambiguity, experimentation, and rapid iteration.

  • Experience championing the user and identifying opportunities to unlock step-change improvements in the customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong business acumen with experience in financial modelling and driving product profitability.

  • Experience in travel, hospitality, or hotel-related products.

The total cash range for this position in Chicago is $161,000.00 to $225,500.00. Employees in this role have the potential to increase their pay up to $257,500.00, which is the top of the range, based on ongoing, demonstrated, and sustained performance in the role.

Starting pay for this role will vary based on multiple factors, including location, available budget, and an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience. Pay ranges may be modified in the future.
