About the role
As a Brand Activations Executive, you’ll play a pivotal role in shaping WHSmith’s future brand campaigns and commercial propositions. Working at the heart of our Commercial Transformation team, you’ll help bring our ideas to life - creating content, campaign assets and pitch materials that support our sales, margin and income ambitions now and for the future.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a creative and proactive designer with a passion for brand activation.
What you’ll do
- Bring campaign ideas and brand propositions to life by designing high-quality pitch deck materials for our sales team.
- Support the Commercial Transformation Manager in generating campaign and partnership ideas for existing suppliers and future third-party collaborations.
- Work between the internal marketing team and suppliers to develop campaign assets that meet creative objectives, brand guidelines and landlord requirements.
- Manage artwork queries or required changes from suppliers, collaborating with scheduling and marketing teams to ensure accuracy and brand consistency.
- Provide artwork support for the compliance and delivery team, including store engagement documents and other operational materials.
Who you are
- Experience in a design-focused role with a strong creative portfolio.
- Proven experience developing activation ideas for brands.
- Highly organised with excellent planning skills.
- Skilled in PowerPoint and other design systems/tools.
- A strong communicator with the confidence to influence at all levels.
- A proactive self-starter who isn’t afraid to drive improvement and initiate change.
- A collaborative team player who can self-manage while supporting colleagues.
- Able to prioritise effectively and manage ambiguity.
- Experience managing high-profile, time-critical projects.
