This lovely family based in Fulham, London, is seeking an After-school Nanny to care for their two school-aged children. Fluency in English is essential. The role involves all general nanny duties. The position supports a family with two children, aged five and seven, who have no allergies or medication needs. The role is based near Fulham and can start as soon as possible, with some flexibility on the exact date. Each afternoon, the first one and a half hours will involve preparing for the evening, assisting with the children’s laundry, and managing school pick-ups from both schools on the same route, beginning at 3:30 PM. The main focus of the role is childcare: being present with the children after school, supervising their dinner, and overseeing their bedtime routine. The role also includes cooking a simple evening meal for the family and keeping the living space tidy, while a separate housekeeper handles deep cleaning. A valid first-aid qualification is needed for this position.
Working hours: Monday to Friday | 1:00 pm to 7:00 pm (Family is flexible with the hours)
Duties include:
- preparing healthy meals and snacks
- washing and dressing the children
- helping with homework
- doing after school activities with the children
- preparing recreational activities that will boost the children’s physical and mental development
- maintaining a clean and tidy environment for the children
- doing arts and crafts
- taking the children to parks and playgrounds
- preparing them for bed and reading them stories
