Spanish ECT (ECT Support) - Enfield
We are working with a school in Enfield recruiting for a Spanish ECT. This is a chance to join a vibrant MFL department where languages are a core pillar of success and native-speaking assistants support every class.
The Role You will teach Spanish at KS3 and KS4, focusing on student confidence through oracy and spontaneous speech. You will follow a structured ECF induction prioritizing second-language acquisition theory. Key responsibilities include:
Delivering high-engagement Spanish lessons in the target language
Coordinating speaking clinics with native language assistants
Incorporating authentic Hispanic media into the curriculum
Meeting weekly with a mentor to review professional targets
Communicating linguistic progress to parents and carers
