Your role

Core ownerships

• Reporting into Financial Operations Manager & working alongside Senior Fin Ops Exec

• Purchase Order matching

• Supplier invoice processing & payments

Role responsibilities

• Monthly processing of AP workflow cycle

• Capture & upload of supplier invoices with OCR tool

• Purchase Order matching or data entry of supplier invoices

• Supplier invoice & Order query management

• Reconciliation to supplier account statements

• Preparation of supplier payments within agreed deadlines

• Online bank payment file preparation

• Credit Card charge review, allocation & reconciliations

• Daily Monitor of AP team mailboxes

• General AR understanding including but not restricted to:

o Sales Order review, leading to sales billing & delivery

o Client billing & query management – internal & external

o Effective cash collection & allocation through best practice Credit Control procedures

o Debtor Statement distribution

• Support Finance & Agency teams with financial requests, training or order workflow matters

Skills and experience

Experience:

• Previous experience within an AP role for at least 1 year

• Knowledge of fundamental accounting practices

• Degree or alternative Higher Education qualifications

• Basic to Intermediate Excel skills and general tech savviness with systems
