Computing Teacher (ECT) – Innovative and tech-driven secondary school – Tower Hamlets
A Tower Hamlets secondary school with a strong reputation for digital innovation is seeking a passionate Early Career Computing Teacher to join its high-performing Computer Science department from January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent position offering structured support and career development.

You will deliver engaging computing lessons across KS3 and KS4, with opportunities to contribute to KS5 in future years. Schemes of work include programming in Python and JavaScript, computational theory, and real-world applications in cybersecurity and AI. You’ll work alongside a team of experienced practitioners who actively support curriculum innovation and extra-curricular clubs like robotics, coding, and esports.
Experience and Qualifications
- PGCE or equivalent with QTS in Computing or related subject
- Strong subject knowledge and awareness of current computing trends
- Passion for developing digital literacy and programming skills
- Legal right to work in the UK
