Teacher of English - Independent School in Camden

Responsibilities
- The ECT English Teacher will deliver inspiring and rigorous teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE/iGCSE), with opportunities to teach A-Level depending on experience.
- The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and encouraging sophisticated literary critique, critical debate, and advanced writing skills.
- They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
- The ECT English Teacher is expected to contribute to consistent academic progress and participate proactively in departmental planning.
Requirements
- Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
- Has the right to work in the UK.
- Holds a Degree or has experience teaching English.
