• The ECT English Teacher will deliver inspiring and rigorous teaching across Key Stages 3 and 4 (GCSE/iGCSE), with opportunities to teach A-Level depending on experience.
• The teacher is responsible for driving high attainment and encouraging sophisticated literary critique, critical debate, and advanced writing skills.
• They must actively engage with the school's ECT support and mentoring programme.
• The ECT English Teacher is expected to contribute to consistent academic progress and participate proactively in departmental planning.

Requirements

• Holds or is soon to obtain Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
• Has the right to work in the UK.
• Holds a Degree or has experience teaching English.
