The Role

The successful candidate will:

• Teach Geography across Key Stages 3–5, including GCSE and A Level

• Inspire pupils to engage critically with environmental, social and geopolitical issues

• Plan well-structured, academically rigorous lessons tailored to stretch and challenge able learners

• Monitor progress carefully and provide high-quality, developmental feedback

• Prepare pupils thoroughly for examinations and independent research components

• Contribute to curriculum innovation and the continued development of the Geography provision

• Lead or support enrichment opportunities such as field trips (local and international), Geography Society, Model United Nations or sustainability initiatives

• Play a full and active role in the wider life of the school, including pastoral responsibilities

• Has a degree in Geography or a closely related discipline
