Nanny

A warm and welcoming family are seeking their first live-in nanny to join them from mid-May (June latest start) to care for their two young children G3 and their wee boy who will be 1 at the start of the role.

This is a sole-charge, professional nanny position suited to an experienced and confident nanny with strong infant experience who is comfortable caring for two young children of different ages. The hours will be covering 35-40 hours a week and they would love for someone to be flexible around babysitting, which will be paid in addition. Someone who is fun, loving, friendly and has confidence is well-suited to this family!

The nanny will start off by helping with the morning routines and assisting B1 in any activities, play groups, care and food routines. It is important that the nanny seeks opportunities for B1 to socialise with other children e.g. play groups or play dates. From 3:20pm the nanny will pick G3 up with B1 from nursery which is a 20-25 minute walk or a 10 minute drive. She will have both children in the afternoon and help with these routines alongside tea time. Other responsibilities included are: children's laundry, meal preparation (the family value healthy foods!) and light household duties. In the half-term, the nanny will have both children full-time.

The family regularly spend time in the countryside near Bath and would welcome a nanny who is happy to travel with them occasionally. A confident driver (automatic) is highly desirable, (but not essential). Mum is from India, so if the nanny speaks Hindi, this is also a bonus!

Both children are very happy and enthusiastic. B1 loves his food, exploring and keeping active while G3 loves piano and ballet. Someone who is proactive and respectful is what they are looking for.

The live-in accommodation is a private double bedroom with an ensuite, located at the top of the house, offering privacy and comfort.
