Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Trading Infrastructure Engineerto join our high profile client.

Our client is a very successful and stable technology-driven trading business. They have no customers relying purely on the internal team to profit from the companies own money. They like technology especially the opensource variety as well as scalability and robust performance (much like their track record). They currently run around £3 billion in liquid capital.

As an infrastructure engineer you will be responsible for:

• Building designing and supporting complex proprietary trading infrastructure
• Support Euro trading hours
• Learn new technologies such as Microwave and radiofrequency, and hardware acceleration.
• Own infrastructure projects from documentation to delivery.
• Automation and customisation of applications that support the quantitative trading operations
• Optimisation and tune real-time systems
• Involved in test driven development and deployment of new systems to production

You MUST have:

• Lan / Wan architectural experience with excellent knowledge of network and system integration
• Low-latency experience
• CCNP
• Routing protocols (OSPF, BGP)
• Experience of Multicast networking
• Comfortable with Linux
• Scripting (Python, Bash)
• Monitoring experience
