Your role in the JoJo story:

Where : JoJo House, Battersea (hybrid – 3 days in office)

Reporting to : Trading Director

This is a newly created role to lead our growing International business. Based in Battersea, you will be responsible for leading a dedicated international team responsible for UK and International business-to-business partnerships, and shaping the business strategy to extend JoJo Maman Bébé’s global reach.

In collaboration with external partners and working closely with other cross-department members of our Senior Leadership Team, this role will work cross functionally to align product, operations and finance behind a commercially robust international growth plan .

This position reports into the Trading Director and will play a key role in representing the JoJo Maman Bébé brand through management of existing partnerships as well as onboarding new partners through network links.

A peek into your daily adventures:

• Define and implement a clear international route-to-market strategy (wholesale and/or marketplace) aligned to agreed commercial guardrails and operational capabilities. This strategy will be based on the business 3-year plan to optimise opportunities through different business partner models that drive profit and reach.

• Ownership of P&L of International markets and existing UK B2B partners

• Building relationships with new partners to understand opportunities and challenges, and working with the wider business to ensure smooth integration

• Working with teams across the business to understand and build the operational capability to include export capability, fulfilment requirements, and partner integrations

• Working in tandem with the buying and merchandising teams to ensure that ranges and stock levels are in place to achieve the strategy

• Building and maintaining relationships with existing UK partners for both wholesale and marketplace, to deliver growth in line with business strategy.

• Further exploration of new UK opportunities to maintain and build brand presence through targeted partnerships

• Leading and developing a Quarterly Business Review approach to support partnerships, performance, and commercial return

• Establish methodology to optimise pipeline opportunities for prospective new partners with deal approval frameworks agreed with CFO and Trading Director

Skills that make you shine:

• Significant experience in leading international wholesale and/or proven marketplace expansion across multiple geographies with proven ability to demonstrate value through P&L impact

• Understanding of complexities around different International markets and how to apply market specific strategies

• Understanding of the operational capabilities required to deliver great wholesale and marketplace service to partners. This includes selection of new partners and negotiation skills to ensure all opportunities are commerically viable.

•Experience in evaluating wholesale versus franchise models and balancing short term opportunities with building strategic partnership

• Demonstrate strong understanding of export, customs and cross-border trade

• Experienced problem solver with proven track record of operating within infrastructure constraints

• Great communication skills with the ability to influence and negotiate with both internal and external teams, building strong, positive relationships

• High motivation and energy, with an eagerness to grow with the business

• Ability to lead from the front, with confident presentation skills and boundless energy to seek out new opportunities

• Self-starter attitude – hungry to make new contacts and build out new paths for growth with a solution orientated approach

• Resilience to knock backs as we make changes to our operating model in order to better serve international opportunities

• Experience of managing a team through complex problems, and supporting that team to achieve their goals

• Ability to multitask and effectively prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment
