RFP Executive

We’re looking for an RFP Executive to join Royal London Asset Management (RLAM) within our Client Group Services team. This role plays a key part in supporting our Institutional and Wealth distribution teams by delivering high‑quality, accurate and compelling responses to client RFPs, RFIs and DDQs.
You’ll work closely with colleagues across the business, including Sales, Investment and Product teams, to showcase RLAM’s investment capabilities across equities, multi‑asset, fixed income and private markets strategies. It’s a great opportunity to build deep product knowledge, develop strong stakeholder relationships and contribute directly to winning and retaining client business, while supporting our Purpose of helping build financial resilience and acting as responsible stewards of our clients’ capital.
This is an excellent opportunity for a candidate with proven RFP experience in asset management who is looking to further develop their technical knowledge, stakeholder management skills and commercial impact.
About the role
- Complete client RFPs, RFIs and DDQs to a high standard of quality and accuracy.
- Work closely with Sales, Investment teams and subject‑matter experts to gather, validate and present information.
- Ensure responses are clear, consistent and compelling, reflecting RLAM’s investment philosophy and capabilities.
- Take ownership of assigned projects end-to-end, managing timelines, stakeholder input and internal governance requirements.
- Support the maintenance and development of written content within systems such as Dasseti and DDQ platforms.
- Build strong working relationships across the business and with external providers to support the sales process.
- Contribute positively to team culture, demonstrating the Spirit of Royal London values.
About you
- Proven experience of leading end-to-end of RFPs, RFIs and/or DDQs within an investment management company for Wealth and institutional clients.
- Understanding of investment products across equities, fixed income and multi‑asset (private markets desirable).
- Strong written communication skills with excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce clear, concise and persuasive content tailored to different audiences.
- Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple deadlines without compromising quality.
- Confident engaging with senior stakeholders and subject-matter experts across the business.
- Experience in using RFP completion/content management systems (Dasseti, Qvidian, RocketDocs, Responsive etc).
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint).
- Proactive solutions-orientated approach with a focus on continuous improvement.
- Degree‑level education and/or IMC desirable.
