Early Years Teacher
Nursery – Bright Horizons Gaynes Park Day Nursery and Preschool, 105 Gaynes Park Road, Upminster, London, RM14 2HX
Salary – Starting from £33,467.20 per annum (dependent on qualification/s and experience)

We’re looking for an Early Years Teacher to join our Gaynes Park nursery. We are conveniently located with an onsite car park and buggy park, and in close proximity to Upminster station and Upminster Bridge tube.

The Role
As an Early Years Teacher, you will plan and deliver rich learning opportunities and exceptional care that helps all the children to develop and meet their individual needs. You will make accurate and effective assessments, which reflect the needs, interests, and stages of each child, and ensure the indoor and outdoor environments are consistently stimulating and inspiring for the children.
What we’re looking for
- Hold either Qualified Teacher Status (QTS), Early Years Teacher Status (EYTS), Early Years Practitioner Status (EYPS), or a full and relevant Level 6 Early Years Qualification
- Passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- Sound understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)
- Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection
- Ability to develop trust and strong working partnerships with both colleagues and parents/ carers
- Ability to use a variety of communication techniques with both colleagues and parents
