Our Building Safety & Compliance Service is looking for a passionate and dedicated Contract Manager (Electrical & Lifts) to join our ambitious team and help make a difference today.

What You'll Be Doing

As Contract Manager (Electrical & Lifts), you will lead the strategic and operational management of electrical and lift service contracts across a portfolio of approximately 55,000 properties. You will oversee high-value contracts, manage significant budgets, and ensure the delivery of safe, compliant, and customer-focused services.

You will:

• Lead the management of electrical and lift maintenance, compliance, and improvement programmes.
• Oversee approximately 30,000 annual repairs and drive continuous service improvement.
• Ensure compliance with statutory regulations, industry standards, and emerging legislation.
• Manage contractor performance through robust KPI monitoring and contract governance.
• Provide expert technical advice to senior leaders and contribute to long-term asset investment planning.
• Lead on resilience planning and major service outage responses, ensuring business continuity and resident confidence.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for an experienced leader who can combine technical expertise with strategic thinking and commercial acumen.

You will have:

• Extensive experience managing large-scale building services, compliance, or engineering contracts.
• Strong knowledge of contract management, statutory compliance, and asset lifecycle planning.
• Experience managing significant budgets and delivering value for money.
• A track record of driving service improvement and leading change within complex technical environments.
• Experience working within regulated environments and delivering compliance-focused solutions.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders, contractors, residents, and partners.
• The ability to lead and motivate multi-disciplinary teams to achieve excellent outcomes.

Additional Information

• Contract Type: Permanent
• Hours: 36 hours per week, Monday to Friday
• DBS: A basic DBS check is required.
• Occasional attendance outside normal office hours may be required to support service delivery and emergency response activities.
