Teacher of History - Harrow Independent School (ASAP)

This is an exceptional opportunity to join a department that prides itself on intellectual rigour and the pursuit of academic excellence in one of the country's most prestigious settings.
About the School This school is a cornerstone of British education, offering a traditional yet innovative environment. With small class sizes and a highly motivated student body, the school provides a workspace where teachers can focus on deep subject exploration and historiography. The facilities are second to none, and the staff room is a collaborative space for academic debate and professional growth.
The Role The successful candidate will teach History across KS3 and KS4, with the potential to contribute to high-level A-Level seminars. The department values a knowledge-rich approach, moving beyond standard specifications to challenge inquisitive young minds with complex global narratives. You will be expected to contribute to the wider life of the school, including leading co-curricular history societies and supporting the pastoral system as a personal tutor.
