Corporate Tax Manager - UK & Ireland | FTSE 10 Multinational
I'm exclusively partnering with a leading FTSE 10 organisation in the FMCG sector to recruit a Corporate Tax Manager for their UK & Ireland finance function.
This opportunity is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys combining technical expertise with strategic business partnering.
Role Overview
As part of a centralised tax team, you'll collaborate with global colleagues and external advisors to deliver accurate reporting, ensure compliance, and support tax planning across multiple entities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert tax guidance to finance, legal, and governance teams
- Support structural and operational initiatives, including entity simplification
- Review corporate tax filings and statutory disclosures
- Manage quarterly tax provision processes
- Perform technical tax calculations (e.g. R&D incentives, capital gains, transfer pricing)
- Oversee withholding tax processes and treaty relief applications
- Liaise with tax authorities to resolve queries and ensure compliance
- Monitor tax payments and maintain accurate records
- Prepare financial adjustments and forecasts
- Ensure tax balances are correctly reflected in financial statements
Candidate Profile
- ACA, CTA, or equivalent qualification
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in UK corporate tax
- Strong understanding of IFRS/FRS 101 tax accounting
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Proficient in Excel and financial systems
- Capable of managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively
