Salary: £500–£600 per week

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate for this Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant role will have:

• A 2:1 or higher degree from a top university (any subject)
• A genuine interest in working with primary-aged children (4–11 years)
• Patience, empathy, and a flexible, can-do attitude
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• A long-term interest in education, child psychology, or teaching
• Some experience working with children (desirable but not essential)

As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, your key responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers in delivering engaging lessons across the primary curriculum
• Providing one-to-one and small group support, especially in literacy and numeracy
• Helping pupils stay focused, motivated, and on track with their learning
• Contributing to a safe, positive, and inclusive classroom atmosphere
• Assisting with behaviour management and lesson preparation
• Taking part in school life, including assemblies, playground duties, and enrichment activities
• Building strong, trusting relationships with pupils and staff alike
