Within Song, our Digital Commerce delivery practice helps organisations design, build, and scale modern digital commerce ecosystems - embedding Generative AI and Agentic AI into commerce to enable real-time personalisation, autonomous merchandising, and intelligent customer engagement at scale. We are entering an exciting era of agentic commerce - where AI agents, conversational interfaces, and intelligent systems are reshaping how people discover, evaluate, and buy online. We are looking for experienced delivery leaders who are energised by this shift and want to lead the programmes that make it real for our clients. About the role You are an experienced commerce delivery manager with a track record of leading end-to-end implementation programmes - from platform selection and architecture through to go-live and value realisation. You are as comfortable owning a delivery programme as you are shaping the approach with a client. You lead multi-disciplinary teams, manage risk and pace, and hold yourself accountable for quality outcomes. You bring strong client relationships and the credibility to operate at senior stakeholder level - and you are excited about what the next era of commerce will demand of you and your clients. Key Responsibilities- Owning end-to-end delivery of commerce transformation programmes - from discovery and architecture through build, testing, and go-live - ensuring programmes are on time, on budget, and delivering against agreed outcomes
- Leading the technical and functional delivery of major commerce platform implementations, including composable and headless architectures built on platforms such as Commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, or MACH-aligned stacks
- Defining delivery approaches, programme structures, and workstream plans that are executable, well-governed, and appropriately resourced across engineering, solution architecture, QA, and integration
- Leading multi-disciplinary delivery teams - including engineers, architects, QA, and third-party partners - creating the conditions for high performance and clear accountability
- Managing client relationships at programme and senior stakeholder level, providing transparency on progress, risks, and decisions, and building trust through consistent delivery
- Overseeing the integration of commerce platforms with surrounding enterprise systems - including CRM, CDP, OMS, payments, PIM, and search - and ensuring architecture decisions are sound, scalable, and fit for purpose
- Leading the delivery of agentic commerce capabilities - including AI-powered personalisation, conversational commerce, intelligent search, and autonomous merchandising - integrated into commerce platforms or built on cloud AI services (e.g. Google Vertex AI, AWS Bedrock, Azure OpenAI)
- Driving build vs. buy decisions across commerce platforms, AI orchestration frameworks, and supporting infrastructure, bringing a point of view grounded in delivery experience
- Embedding responsible AI and governance principles into agentic delivery programmes - including auditability, explainability, and human-in-the-loop mechanisms
- Contributing to Accenture Song's commerce delivery capability - including shaping accelerators, reusable assets, delivery standards, and points of view that advance our market position
- Supporting the growth and development of delivery talent within the team, providing hands-on coaching and creating development opportunities for consultants and engineers
- 8 years of professional experience in technology delivery, with a track record of leading end-to-end implementation programmes at pace and scale
- Deep, hands-on experience delivering at least one major enterprise commerce platform - such as Commercetools, Salesforce Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, SAP Commerce, or a composable / MACH-aligned architecture
- Strong understanding of commerce platform architecture - including API-led and microservices-based design, headless and composable patterns, and integration with enterprise systems
- Proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary delivery teams - including engineers, architects, QA, and third-party partners - across complex, multi-workstream programmes
- Experience managing senior client stakeholders - able to build trust, communicate delivery status with clarity, and navigate competing priorities and risks
- Working knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure) as deployment and infrastructure environments for commerce and AI systems
- Demonstrable interest in agentic commerce and AI - through delivery of AI-powered features, proof of concepts, or a developed understanding of how agentic capabilities integrate with commerce platforms
- Strong communication and leadership skills - able to set direction, hold teams accountable, and represent delivery credibly at C-suite level
- Hands-on experience delivering agentic AI capabilities on cloud platforms - such as Google Vertex AI Agent Builder, AWS Bedrock, or Azure OpenAI
- Familiarity with agentic AI frameworks and tooling - such as LangGraph, LangChain, LlamaIndex, or CrewAI - and how they are applied
- Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) architectures, vector databases, and LLM-powered applications as part of a commerce or customer technology programme
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, containerisation, and cloud-native deployment practices for production commerce and AI systems
- Up to 30 days of leave to spend each year plus 3 extra volunteering days per year for charitable work of choice.
- Family-friendly and flexible work policies.
- Attractive pension plan with financial wellbeing support and resources.
- Private healthcare insurance plan and Mental Wellbeing support.
- Employee Assistance Programme, Career Development and Counselling.
- A range of generous Parental Leave offerings.
