Early Years Teaching Assistant
A welcoming and supportive primary school in Richmond, recently rated Good by Ofsted, is seeking a dedicated Early Years Teaching Assistant to join their vibrant Early Years team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is passionate about early childhood education, has experience in EYFS settings, and is looking to make a positive impact in a nurturing school environment. What We’re Looking For: * Experience working with children in Early Years (nursery, preschool, or reception). * Knowledge of the EYFS framework and child development. * A patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach to supporting young learners. * Strong communication skills to work effectively with staff, children, and families. * Experience supporting children with SEN is desirable but not essential. Key Responsibilities: * Provide high-quality support to children in Reception, helping them thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. * Support the class teacher with planning, preparation, and delivery of engaging learning activities. * Deliver small group work and 1:1 support, adapting tasks to meet individual needs. * Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment. * Encourage positive behaviour and a love of learning in the Early Years.
