Data Manager
A welcoming Primary School in the London Borough of Hillingdon is seeking an experienced Data Manager to join its support staff team on a full-time, permanent basis.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and analytical professional who understands the importance of accurate data in supporting school improvement and pupil achievement. The successful candidate will take ownership of the school's management information systems while ensuring all attendance, assessment and pupil information is maintained accurately and securely.
Working closely with the Headteacher and Senior Leadership Team, you will manage the school's data systems, maintain pupil records, coordinate statutory returns and produce detailed reports that support strategic decision-making. Your work will help monitor pupil progress, attendance and school performance while ensuring information is accessible and reliable.
Responsibilities include managing Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS databases, processing admissions and leavers, preparing reports for governors and senior leaders, completing school census returns and ensuring compliance with GDPR and data protection legislation.
You will also provide training and support for colleagues using school management systems, identify opportunities to improve reporting processes and help develop efficient administrative procedures across the school.
The successful candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, advanced Microsoft Excel knowledge and exceptional attention to detail. Previous experience working with school data systems is highly desirable.

Requirements
Previous Data Manager or school data experience
Experience using Arbor, Bromcom or SIMS
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent analytical and organisational abilities
Strong attention to detail
Knowledge of GDPR and data protection legislation
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
