A well-established manufacturing and distribution business is seeking a proactive Sales Administrator to join their busy and expanding team. If you're organised, customer-focused, and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.
This is a full-time, permanent position .
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm
(Please note: Part-time or flexible hours cannot be offered for this role.)
This role is showroom-based , and you will be the face of the business-acting as the first point of contact for customers. Exceptional face-to-face customer service is essential, as you'll be greeting visitors, managing enquiries, and guiding clients through available products and services in person.
What you'll be doing:
- Managing customer orders and liaising with our production team
- Handling sales enquiries via phone, email, and in person
- Producing quotes and assisting showroom customers
- Checking pricing, raising invoices, and updating internal systems
- Sending out samples and processing returns
- Maintaining accurate customer records
- Following up sales leads and generating new business through cold calling
- Staying informed on industry trends and materials
What we're looking for:
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Confident, approachable, and professional face-to-face presence
- Proficient in Excel - including formulas and data interpretation
- Experience in admin or customer service
- Detail-oriented and a reliable team player
Start date: ASAP
£29,000 - £31,000 per annum
