The Employer Solutions team advises employers on their tax withholding and reporting obligations, including areas such as salary, bonus, expenses, and benefits. They also work on broader workforce issues like the National Minimum Wage, Off-Payroll Working, Apprenticeship Levy, and Gender Pay Gap reporting. What Will You Do?
As a Senior Manager within the Employer Solutions team, you'll be at the forefront of managing complex projects that impact key areas such as pay, benefits, and expenses. You'll work with a diverse portfolio of clients, from small businesses to household names, helping them with tasks such as:
* Leading projects on employee issues, including PAYE health checks, SAO certification, voluntary disclosures, PAYE Settlement Agreements, payroll process reviews, and National Minimum Wage investigations.
* Managing and delivering ad-hoc employment tax advice on matters like employment status reviews, termination payments, salary sacrifice, and due diligence projects.
* Spearheading the Employer Solutions technology offerings, including implementation and ongoing support.
* Driving business development initiatives, identifying and winning new work opportunities, and maintaining strong client relationships.
* Ensuring high-quality delivery of work, meeting deadlines, and maintaining a high standard of service.
* Leading and mentoring a team, fostering their professional development and guiding them to success.
* Engaging with external bodies, such as HMRC, to negotiate and resolve issues.
What Are We Looking For?
To succeed in this role, you'll need to be a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, communication, and project management skills. You'll also need experience in employment tax, payroll advisory, or a related field, with a strong understanding of the challenges faced by employers in today's changing tax and employment landscape.
