Job Description
Greet customers warmly and take orders with attention to detail (e.g. coffee blend, milk preference, sweetness level)
Prepare and serve hot and cold beverages including espresso, lattes, teas, and specialty drinks
Recommend drinks and upsell special menu items
Handle payments (cash and card) accurately
Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, equipment, and seating spaces
Monitor inventory and restock supplies like mugs, beans, and pastries
Ensure brewing equipment is functioning and report maintenance needs
Follow health and safety regulations
Communicate customer feedback to management
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Barista or in food service is preferred
Hands-on knowledge of brewing equipment and drink preparation
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment
Basic math skills for handling transactions
Flexibility to work shifts including weekends and holidays
High school diploma or equivalent; barista training is a plus
