Year 5 Teacher | Lambeth
A progressive Lambeth primary rated Outstanding is seeking a dynamic and reflective Year 5 Teacher to join the upper KS2 team from January 2026. This full-time Year 5 Teacher position involves leading ambitious curriculum sequences, running booster groups and preparing pupils for transition into Year 6. The Year 5 Teacher will be expected to plan before January 2026 and to teach from January 2026.

Year 5 Teacher Responsibilities
The Year 5 Teacher will deliver high-quality mathematics and English lessons as the Year 5 Teacher, lead whole-class and small-group interventions as the Year 5 Teacher, and coordinate assessments as the Year 5 Teacher. The Year 5 Teacher will liaise with parents, organise enrichment activities and support transition work starting in January 2026. The Year 5 Teacher will contribute to subject development and may lead moderation activities across the phase.
Year 5 Teacher Requirements
We are looking for a Year 5 Teacher with QTS, strong Upper KS2 experience and evidence of impact on pupil outcomes. The Year 5 Teacher must be available for pre-term planning ahead of January 2026, induction in January 2026, and to teach from January 2026.
