SEN TA - Tower Hamlets
A welcoming primary school in Tower Hamlets is seeking a compassionate and reliable SEN TA to join their team from January 2026. This SEN TA position in Tower Hamlets offers the opportunity to work closely with pupils who require additional learning, social or emotional support. The successful SEN TA will begin in January 2026, with induction and handover completed before January 2026.

• SEN TA to deliver targeted interventions and support classroom access
The SEN TA will provide one-to-one and small-group support, adapt learning resources and assist pupils in accessing the curriculum. Working in Tower Hamlets, the SEN TA will collaborate with class teachers and the SENCo to implement personalised strategies. This SEN TA role is ideal for someone who is patient, organised and passionate about inclusive education.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily one-to-one and small-group support
- Deliver structured intervention programmes
- Adapt classroom resources to meet pupil needs
- Support behaviour and emotional regulation
- Communicate progress with staff and parents in Tower Hamlets
Person specification
- Experience working with children with SEND as a SEN TA
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- Calm, empathetic and resilient approach
- Able to start January 2026
