Job Title: BIM Coordinator
Reporting to: Operations Director
Location: London
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Holidays: 32 days per year (inclusive of 8 UK bank holidays)

Role Overview
The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for the day-to-day enablement of BIM delivery across the studio. This includes maintaining templates and content, coordinating models across projects (aligned with ISO 19650 standards), developing user competency, and ensuring high-quality information management—allowing project teams to design efficiently and confidently in Revit.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver training in BIM software and processes.
- Work closely with team members, delegating responsibilities appropriately.
- Stay up to date with statutory regulations, ensuring compliance with studio standards for quality, health and safety, and environmental policies.
- Develop standards, libraries, and workflows to meet project requirements and improve efficiency.
- Perform BIM coordination on multiple projects, liaising with client BIM leads and external consultants.
- Organise, configure, and maintain BIM projects, managing project production and content creation.
- Respond to BIM queries from internal and external project team members.
- Conduct model audits, clash detection, and reporting on model progress, quality, and content.
- Create and maintain Revit assets including templates, annotations, and model elements.
- Coordinate project activities across ACC/BIM 360, including clash detection and issue tracking (Navisworks/Solibri).
- Support content management and assist in the creation of families, templates, title blocks, and annotation tools.
- Lead migration to Autodesk Content Catalogue and maintain naming and parameter standards.
- Maintain Revit Handbook documentation, including BEP/BEP-lite extracts, survey requirements, and sheet standards.
- Conduct periodic audits on models, families, and templates; produce concise quality control reports and corrective actions.
- Provide inductions, baseline assessments, and ongoing training for staff.
- Support early-stage project enablement, ensuring survey model requirements and worksets are in place prior to Stage 3.
- Coordinate with the Digital Technology team regarding ACC projects, plugins, and licensing.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proven experience in BIM/Revit coordination on live architectural projects.
- Strong family creation and template development skills.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 processes and CDEs (ACC/BEP-lite).
- Solid understanding of the architectural design process and technical requirements.
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
- Strong interpersonal and team communication abilities.
- Effective problem-solving and strategic thinking capabilities.
- Good people management and delegation skills.
- Professional, organised, and detail-oriented approach.
- Prior experience in CAD and BIM coordination roles.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
- Working knowledge of ISO 19650 processes and CDEs
