Studio Internship
Join Clothing Manufacturers UK for a hands-on internship inside a working garment factory. You’ll support our team across different stages of the production process, including: • Copying and tracing patterns
• Helping amend patterns under supervision
• Assisting with quality control (QC) checks
• Helping with cutting samples
• Supporting production with fabric laying and cutting
• Helping package finished production orders
• Cleaning and preparing garments once they are off the production line What You’ll Learn:
This internship is designed to give you practical experience and insider knowledge of the fashion and manufacturing industry. You will learn: • How professional patterns are created, copied, and adjusted
• The basics of garment fitting, sizing, and alterations
• Quality control standards and why precision is key in production
• How fabrics and samples are cut and prepared for manufacturing
• The processes of garment finishing, cleaning, and packaging ready for clients
• The complete journey from design concept to finished product
• Teamwork and factory floor skills to boost your CV and industry readiness This role is perfect for students who want to build real-world experience, expand their technical knowledge, and gain insight into how a professional UK clothing manufacturer operates. We are seeking motivated, hands-on students or recent graduates who are eager to gain real industry experience in fashion and garment production. The ideal candidate will have: • A genuine interest in fashion, textiles, or clothing production
• A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills
• Good attention to detail and care when handling fabrics and garments
• The ability to follow instructions carefully and work as part of a team
• Reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach to tasks
• Basic knowledge of sewing, textiles, or pattern cutting (advantageous but not essential) This opportunity is open to both part-time and full-time students, with a minimum commitment of 3 months to ensure you get the most out of the learning experience.
