Be the driving force behind our UK office!
We’re seeking a proactive Office Manager to keep operations running smoothly and support our growing team. You’ll be the go-to person for administration, compliance, and team coordination, making sure everything works seamlessly. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and love creating order, this is your chance to make a big impact.

About us

  • Australian Retirement Trust (ART) is one of Australia’s largest superannuation funds, helping millions of members achieve financial security for retirement.
  • We’re committed to delivering exceptional service, responsible investment strategies, and innovative solutions that make a real difference.
  • Our values, Courage, Empathy, and Excellence, shape a culture of collaboration and integrity.
  • We’re expanding in the UK, and this is an exciting opportunity to join us at a pivotal stage of growth.

About the role

We’re all about helping our members make the most of their money. And while they go after their goals, you can too. Reporting to the Senior Portfolio Manager – Head of UK, you’ll ensure the smooth and efficient running of our UK office. Acting as the central point of contact for office operations, you’ll manage administrative processes, support team members, and maintain a productive work environment. You’ll also liaise with internal teams, many of which are in Australia and external suppliers to ensure compliance, organisation, and resource availability.

Day to day, you'll:

  • Develop and maintain office processes, policies, and systems; manage facilities and health and safety compliance; oversee procurement and vendor contracts within budget.
  • Track expenses, process invoices, prepare budget reports; help ensure legal compliance; support WH&S assessments and business continuity planning.
  • Coordinate onboarding and relocation; organise team-building and internal communications; act as main contact for office-related queries.
  • Manage complex calendars and meeting logistics; prepare agendas, minutes, and presentations; arrange international travel and accommodation.

Location: London, near Marble Arch.

Contract: Full-time, permanent.

About you

It goes without saying you'll be a great communicator with top notch interpersonal skills. We'll also expect you to pick up problems and come up with quick, creative ways to solve them. It's quite likely you tick some of the following boxes too:

  • You have proven experience managing sensitive and time-critical administrative and reporting functions.
  • You’re highly organised and able to multitask and manage projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • You can work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
  • You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • You’re proficient in MS Office, Excel and Powerpoint and familiar with office technology.
  • You have solid knowledge of budgeting and financial reporting.
  • You understand HR processes and UK employment regulations.
  • You’ve worked in a similar role, preferably within pension funds or financial institutions.
  • You’re confident working independently and taking initiative.
  • You have experience managing complex international travel.

Why join us?

Our 2.4 million members trust us to manage over £170 billion in retirement savings. We offer an inclusive, supportive culture where you’ll be valued and heard. At ART, you can be yourself and do amazing work, while helping shape the future of retirement outcomes.

  • Starting salary - £60,000 per annum and 8% pension contributions.
  • Annual performance bonus.
  • Generous holiday allowance plus UK public holidays and an additional 6 days well-being leave each year!
  • Private health insurance and wellbeing support.
  • Opportunities for career development and international exposure.
