What is the job role?

We’re looking for a Head of Partnerships to take ownership of SunGod’s partnerships - spanning elite athletes, next-gen creators, and world-class teams. You’ll deliver campaigns, collaborations, and products that build credibility, drive awareness, and bring new customers into the SunGod world.

Reporting directly to the MD and working closely with the Head of Marketing, this is a creative, commercial, and hands-on role at the heart of SunGod’s growth.

Key Responsibilities?

Run SunGod’s partnerships programme across athletes, ambassadors, creators, teams, brands, and charities - making sure every relationship delivers awareness, credibility, and commercial value.

Manage major global partnerships like McLaren F1 and INEOS Grenadiers, handling day-to-day activation, contract delivery, and performance tracking.

Lead the Partnerships & Community team to manage SunGod’s wider roster of athletes and ambassadors, supporting them with coaching, direction, and feedback to ensure best-in-class delivery.

Build and nurture long-term relationships with athletes, agents, brands, and organisations - negotiating renewals, maximising ROI, and ensuring alignment with SunGod’s values.

Collaborate with Marketing and Product teams to create campaigns, content, and collaborations that grow brand awareness and bring new customers into the SunGod community.

Drive athlete-led product innovation by working with athletes and teams to feed insights into the product pipeline, shaping collaborations and product launches.

Deliver creative activations - from grassroots community events to high-profile international campaigns - ensuring every partnership is activated to its fullest potential.

Track and report on performance of partnerships, using data and insight to demonstrate ROI and continuously improve impact.

Manage and allocate budgets effectively, ensuring every pound delivers value and supports SunGod’s commercial objectives.

Act as an ambassador for SunGod across sport, culture, and business - representing the brand and building networks that create new opportunities.

Identify and pursue new opportunities with world-class teams, cutting-edge brands, and cultural partners to keep SunGod at the front of the performance and lifestyle conversation.

✔ Challenge and evolve SunGod’s partnership strategy , bringing fresh thinking and bold ideas to build on what’s worked while opening up new directions.

✔ Understand SunGod’s triple bottom line of people, planet and profit, and incorporate this into your job role every day.

Who are we looking for?

The ideal person has the following skills, experiences and competencies:

Proven experience leading partnerships with athletes, teams, or brands in a consumer-facing, brand-led environment.

Track record of delivering standout campaigns, activations and product collaborations that win attention, build awareness, and drive commercial results.

Strong negotiation, budget management and ROI reporting skills , with the ability to maximise value from every partnership.

Leadership experience , with a track record of developing and inspiring high-performing teams.

Strategic mindset with hands-on execution skills — able to zoom out to set direction while rolling up sleeves to deliver.

Confident relationship-builder , credible with athletes and talent, collaborative with colleagues, and comfortable operating at all levels from grassroots creators to C-suite executives.

Culturally tuned-in , with an eye for rising talent, tastemakers and brands that align with SunGod’s world.

Organised and resourceful , able to manage complex projects and timelines while always seeking smarter, more impactful ways to deliver value.

Creative and commercially focused , bringing fresh ideas and pushing boundaries without losing sight of results.
