What's the role?

Are you a dynamic and versatile Sales Account Manager with a proven ability to build strong relationships, uncover opportunities, and drive growth?

As a Sales Account Manager, you’ll be the face of Hilti—at the heart of our direct sales model. This field-based role is all about meaningful customer interactions and a consultative approach to improving productivity, safety, and sustainability. You’ll also play a key role in generating new business, creatively identifying leads, and securing meetings that open doors.

You don’t need construction industry experience to apply. We’re looking for someone who’s collaborative, curious, driven, and passionate about delivering results and exceptional customer experiences. What does the role involve?

  • You’ll be out in your region meeting customers, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions showcasing our innovative products and software.
  • You’ll actively develop ‘focus’ customers, generate new leads, and secure meetings to build a strong pipeline.
  • You’ll manage your sales area strategically and operationally, using our best-in-class Salesforce CRM to stay ahead of opportunities and customer needs.

What you need is:

To progress your application, it is essential you:

  • Hold a full, manual UK driving licence and be willing to travel
  • Have no more than six points on your licence
  • You able to provide evidence of eligibility to work in the UK. Please note: Due to the minimum salary thresholds, we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for Account Manager roles.
You’ll also need:
  • Proven experience in sales or account management (any industry)
  • A strong track record in generating new business and developing accounts
  • Confidence in lead generation and securing meetings independently
  • A solution-oriented mindset with the ability to uncover customer needs
  • Resilience and adaptability to engage with all levels of customer
  • Drive, curiosity, and a passion for learning and growth
  • Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage your time effectively
  • A values-driven approach—commitment, teamwork, courage, and integrity
