Cleaning Operative
- Supervise and support a team of Cleaning Operatives to ensure standards and timescales are met.
- Assist the Residence Manager with work allocation, rota planning, and monitoring staff attendance.
- Carry out cleaning audits, identify training needs, and deliver staff inductions.
- Ensure compliance with health & safety, COSHH, and company policies.
- Maintain cleaning equipment, stock control, and ordering of supplies.
- Respond to complaints, safety issues, and hazards, escalating where necessary.
- Provide cover during staff absences and assist with special duties as required.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Previous cleaning and supervisory experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
