Maths Teacher
Smart Teachers is seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Maths Teacher to join a thriving East London secondary school for a January to April placement
About the role
Deliver engaging and differentiated Maths lessons to KS3–KS4 pupils
Plan, mark, and assess in line with department expectations
Contribute to the wider Maths department and participate in curriculum development
Maintain strong classroom management and foster a positive learning environment
Attend relevant meetings, parents’ evenings, and professional development sessions

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Maths Teacher you will:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
- Strong subject knowledge and ability to teach Maths up to GCSE
- Previous secondary school teaching experience in the UK
- Ability to engage and motivate students of varying abilities
- A valid enhanced DBS or willingness to undergo one
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
