We are looking for a Fine Dining Events Ambassador to join our team at one of Rapport’s most prestigious contracts in Canary Wharf . The client is one of the Big Four leading audit and accounting firms, and you will play a crucial role in delivering award winning service to our clients and their guests.

Joining a team of five, you will be responsible for creating and executing unparalleled private fine dining experiences for high-profile guests within our office environment. This role demands exceptional culinary skills, impeccable service, and meticulous attention to detail. The Fine Dining Events Ambassador serves as the primary liaison for all high-profile bookings, ensuring seamless communication and flawless execution.

Type of contract: Full-time, Permanent

Hours: 40 per week (Monday-Friday; on a shift rota basis between 7 AM – 9:30 PM)

Main Responsibilities

The Fine Dining Events Ambassador will be responsible for booking and planning dining experiences for smaller and larger groups, restaurant hosting and administrative duties in our high-end dining area.

  • Provide discreet, personalised support to VIP guests with care and confidence.
  • Welcome and guide guests, offering a warm and professional experience throughout.
  • Manage bookings from start to finish, ensuring accuracy and efficiency at every stage.
  • Coordinate closely with the catering team to ensure timely service of food and drinks.
  • Respond to guest inquiries swiftly and knowledgeably, acting as a key point of contact.
  • Maintain a clear and up-to-date booking calendar and inbox.
  • Balance front-of-house duties with essential admin tasks to keep operations running smoothly.

The ideal candidate will

  • Ideally, have at least two years of experience in fine dining hospitality.
  • Bring confidence and calm to fast-paced environments, juggling priorities with ease.

  • Build strong, lasting relationships through warmth, attentiveness, and discretion.
  • Approach every task with precision, pride, and an eye for the smallest detail.
  • Have proven experience in planning and coordinating high-profile events or services.
  • Be confident using Microsoft Office and familiar with event or booking systems.
  • Stay flexible, reliable, and solution-focused — even when plans shift at the last minute.
