Hours: 8:15 am - 3:45 pm
Contract: Full-Time, Long-Term

GSL Education are hiring for a resilient and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (TA) to join a supportive school in Enfield. The role involves working closely with students who have Special Educational Needs (SEN), providing tailored support to help them thrive academically and personally.

Responsibilities of the Teaching Assistant (TA)

* Provide one-to-one support to students with complex needs .
* Implement a child-centred approach to learning and development.
* Assist in delivering individualised educational plans and adapting lessons as required.
* Support students in developing their social, emotional, and communication skills.
* Work collaboratively with teachers and other staff to create a nurturing learning environment.

Requirements of the Teaching Assistant (TA)

* Previous experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and complex needs.
* Understanding of complex needs and strategies to support individual learning.
* Resilient, proactive, and able to manage challenging situations effectively.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
