Learning Support Assistant in Wealdstone
Begin your journey as a Learning Support Assistant in a vibrant and inclusive primary school in Wealdstone (NW London) today. Immediate start full-time roles available across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 to support and inspire young people.
As a Learning Support Assistant, you will be working full time to support children with SEND, both in 1:1 sessions and by leading small groups, often assisting with the delivery of interventions to maximise learning potential and to ensure every child can access the full curriculum. You may also be providing support for children who are non-verbal, assisting them through Speech & Language sessions and activities.
A Level 3 qualification would be desirable but is not essential for this Learning Support Assistant role.
Working in a welcoming and diverse primary school located in the London Borough of Harrow, you would be joining a friendly and dedicated team of support staff as an LSA. Staff in this school have built a community and work together collaboratively to ensure each child has the opportunity to reach their full potential and every child feels supported and included.
This is a full time role (Monday-Friday, 8:30am-3:45pm) to start ASAP and likely to last until the end of the academic year in July with the potential for it to be permanent thereafter for the right Learning Support Assistant. As it is a long-term position, you will feel rewarded seeing the progress your key children make by the end of the school year thanks to your support! There's also the opportunity for career progression and further training.
Apply now to start making a difference to children's lives as a Learning Support Assistant in Wealdstone!
