The Role

Taking a commercial focus, you will advise on a range of prestigious national and international disputes. Many of the cases you will work on are high-profile and notable for the impact they have, not just on our clients but on the wider legal system.

The team are at the forefront of commercial litigation in Scotland and is highly regarded for its expertise. Based out of the firm's growing Edinburgh office, you will have the opportunity to support international clients' sophisticated, complex and multi-jurisdictional commercial disputes.

Quality and variety of work make this an incredibly engaging and fulfilling opportunity. Your work will cover the full spectrum of top-tier commercial matters, notably including high-profile class actions and follow-on claims.

You will support clients on every stage of resolving their commercial disputes, from drafting resolution clauses and negotiating pre-contractual clauses to litigation, complex cross-jurisdictional disputes and enforcing judgments.

Furthermore, the litigation will span the full spectrum of sectors, from energy, financial services, technology, transport and more, making for an engaging position.

Working directly alongside Legal 100-named and individually ranked lawyers, this role will provide you with the foundation to ascend to the top of your profession, both regarding the work you will be doing and your remuneration.

The Ideal Candidate

• Has a minimum of 4 PQE in Commercial Litigation, with experienced candidates welcome
• Strong experience in London-centric work
• First-rate drafting skills
• Commercial focus
• Has strong attention to detail and organisation
• Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively
• Can manage a varied caseload with a range of clients
