Computer Science Teacher - Essex

An outstanding independent school in Essex is seeking a forward-thinking Computer Science Teacher to join its innovative digital faculty from January 2026. The school promotes creativity, coding, and collaboration, preparing students for success in an increasingly digital world.
The Role
You’ll teach Computer Science across KS3–KS5, focusing on programming, algorithms, and systems design. The small class environment allows for a tailored and challenging learning experience.
The Department
The department boasts modern computing suites, robotics labs, and interactive displays. Staff collaborate to ensure lessons are current, relevant, and engaging, integrating technology into every aspect of learning.
Responsibilities
- Teach Computer Science to GCSE and A-Level students.
- Deliver engaging lessons using real-world applications.
- Support digital enrichment activities such as coding clubs.
- Mentor students working on individual programming projects.
- Contribute to faculty development and IT innovation.
About You
- Computer Science graduate with QTS.
- Strong technical knowledge and classroom experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Eager to inspire and challenge inquisitive learners.
