We’re currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Regulatory Business Analyst.
Reporting into the Head of Digital Regulatory Change, you'll be responsible for the execution of project priorities while maintaining the conceptual and technical integrity of the features for the team. You'll also be involved from initial product conception to its business implementation and throughout continuous improvement.

In this role you’ll:
- Lead requirements gathering and definition activities across both proposition and operating model within a scaled agile development environment
- Work closely with the Product Owner to understand needs and document requirements utilising scaled agile frameworks
- Identify, review and analyse business processes and systems to understand design implications across Business, IT and Operations
- Document end-to-end delivery of changes from scoping and initial requirement elaboration, to release and evaluation including and any ongoing feature enhancements or changes
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
- Delivered digital projects within the scope of Payment Service Regulations 2017 (PSR2017) (Open Banking / JROC ) and the Retail Banking Market Investigation Order 2017
- A deep understanding of the regulatory landscape where you have worked on regulatory deliverables such as: The Banking Act 2009, Consumer Credit Act (1974, updated 2006), The Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (FSMA 2000), Consumer Rights Act 2015, Banking Conduct of Business Sourcebook (BCOBS), Data Protection Act 2018 (DPA 2018) and Anti-Money Laundering Regulations (AML).
- Knowledge of FCA regulations including PS22/9 Consumer Duty, enhanced care needs Care Act 2014, Effective customer warnings FCA PRIN, Fraud counter measures and effective customer warnings under the Contingent Reimbursement Model Code
- Strong knowledge and experience of digital banking channels (Mobile, browser and Open Banking APIs) and products (payments, loans, cards etc.)
- Delivery experience on domestic and international payments with ISO20022
- Proficient in the SAFE Agile methodology with a track record of managing multiple financial services regulatory deliverables
- Able to play a key role in identifying and assessing potential regulatory risks, developing and implementing risk mitigation strategies, and ensuring that our digital products and services are designed and operated in a way that minimises regulatory risk
- Experience of collaborating with and managing a variety of key stakeholders such as, legal, risk, compliance and fraud second lines of defence
