About The Practice:

This small animal practice have been proudly serving the local community for the past 10 years, offering a comprehensive range of services to care for pets, including:

• Anaesthesia, Biochemistry, Blood Pressure Monitoring
• Cruciate Surgery, Dentistry, Digital X-ray, Echocardiography
• Haematology and In-House Laboratory
• Health Plans, Hospital Ward, Isolation Unit, Microchipping, Nurse Clinics
• Operating Theatre, Orthopaedics, Pet Passports/Animal Health Certificates
• Ultrasound and X-ray facilities

The practice is supported by a friendly, dedicated team consisting of 4 vets, 3 RVNs, 1 SVN, 2 VCAs, and 3 Receptionists, all committed to providing exceptional care to both clients and their pets, and supporting one another as part of a close-knit team.

The Role:

They are seeking a confident and motivated RVN with prior experience to join their busy and dynamic practice. The role is varied, offering the opportunity to work as a Kennel Nurse, Ops Nurse, and Consult Nurse, depending on the daily shift requirements. An interest or experience in clinical coaching would be an advantage, as the practice values ongoing professional development.

Hours of Work:

• Full-time: 40 hours per week
• No out-of-hours (OOH) requirements
• 1:5 weekends
• Shifts on a rota basis:
  • Monday to Friday: 8:30 am 5:00 pm, 11:00 am 7:30 pm, 9:30 am 6:00 pm
  • Weekend shifts: 1 in 5. After working a weekend, the following shift will be Monday to Wednesday, 9:30 am 6:30 pm, with Thursday and Friday off, ensuring a great work-life balance.
