Year 3 Teacher — Good School — Croydon
A forward-thinking Good primary in Croydon is recruiting a reflective and creative Year 3 Teacher to join its KS2 team on a Part-Time basis from January 2026. This Part-Time Year 3 Teacher vacancy is ideal for a practitioner who wants to retain a meaningful work–life balance while delivering high-impact teaching. The successful Year 3 Teacher will be involved in pre-term planning ahead of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and commence teaching from January 2026 on an agreed Part-Time timetable.
Why this Part-Time Year 3 Teacher role? The school believes that high quality teaching does not depend on full-time hours alone. The Year 3 Teacher will have protected planning time, access to a robust CPD programme and close collaboration with a strong phase team. Although the post is Part-Time, the Year 3 Teacher is fully included in staff development and leadership conversations starting before January 2026 and continuing beyond January 2026.
What the Year 3 Teacher will do
The Year 3 Teacher will plan engaging sequences that develop number fluency, deepen comprehension and build resilient writers. The Year 3 Teacher will use assessment to identify gaps and deliver targeted interventions. The Year 3 Teacher will promote curiosity, lead enrichment sessions and liaise with families to support learning at home. The Year 3 Teacher will begin curriculum handover and moderation in advance of January 2026, attend induction in January 2026, and teach from January 2026 on a Part-Time timetable.
Who we are looking for
We want a reflective Year 3 Teacher with QTS and recent KS2 experience, strong behaviour strategies and creativity in lesson design. The Year 3 Teacher should be organised, confident using formative assessment and ready to begin planning before January 2026, to attend induction during January 2026, and to teach as a Part-Time Year 3 Teacher from January 2026.
This Croydon role offers meaningful professional development and the chance to make a real difference to pupils’ learning while maintaining a sustainable timetable. If you are a committed Year 3 Teacher ready for a Part-Time start in January 2026, we welcome your application.
To be considered for this Year 3 Teacher position, please forward an up-to-date version of your CV.
